C3 278: OLDER THAN TIME - STONE ARCHITECTURE

As versatile natural material, cool in summer and warm in winter, stone lends itself to a variety of application and designs from different circumstances and surroundings.
Here six projects from around the world are examined, including: Sami Arquitectos' ‘Gruta das Torres' visitor center, Titus Bernhard's ‘9 x 9 House' and the ‘SM House' by Mimarlar Tasarim.
Further a survey of the computer design-driven works of SungGoo Yang is included. Works are accompanied by photographs, plans, elevations and models.
