With these Swiss masters now entering their third decade, it seems appropriate to survey a practice that has forged laconicism in form with eloquence in materials at such a constant and high level. Featuring works from two earlier AV editions along with twenty new projects, this bumper volume features both well know classics and more recent commissions such as the Roche Tower, Basel and the Gazprom Tower in St. Petersburg. A total of 54 projects are examined, accompanied by contributions from Rem Koolhaas and Terence Riley, among others.
