Light is the element that reveals architecture. It renders textures and materials, illuminates surfaces, it creates atmospheres. Author Mireia Vergés studied architecture in the Escola Tènicia Superior de Arquitecture of Barcelona and in the North London University. Later, she enlarged her studies with a MA of Aesthetics of Contemporary Art at the University Autónoma of Barcelona. After working for several architecture studios, she co-founded Studio AGVA Arquitectura with Teresa Guri and Ruediger Wurth. Her participation in various public competitions has been awarded with several prizes and mentions.
