Présentation de l'éditeur :
Archi_ve_s is a series of books published in
collaboration with the Student Senate of the University Institute of
Architecture of Venice. Each title is the result of a project organized
by the students themselves, in complete autonomy. They decide on the
content of each publication, freely designing the graphics, preparing
the materials and working on all the production phases.
This volume
describes the work of
Mansilla + Tuñón, two young Spanish contemporary
architects who have broken away from the organic tradition of Spanish
architecture in pursuit of a terse process of abstraction. They
construct polysemantic works of architecture, convinced that reality is
more weighty and complex than ideas.
Their works include the
Archaeological Museum of Zamora, the El Aguila cultural center in
Madrid, the Auditorium of León, the Museum of Castellón.
