Bernard Cache, born in 1958, studied at the École Politechnique Fédérale des Lausanne and at the École Supérieure des Sciences Économiques et Commerciales under Gilles Deleuze. He founded together with Patrick Beaucé the office Objectile. Cache has realized highly different projects, including a residential building in Kuala Lumpur, an extension to Schipol Airport (together with Ove Arup’s office) and cash terminals for the French Railway. His scientific research concentrates on materials, their manufacture and utilisation respectively.
