Located right next to the laboratory complex by Adolf Krischanitz, the ‘Fabrikstrasse 14’ at the Novartis Campus by José Rafael Moneo responds to the task of building a laboratory in an altogether different way. In the architect’s building, long access corridors accompany the glazed longitudinal façade, while the actual work rooms and laboratories are arranged in the inside area.

In addition the entrance and the back wall of the restaurant features colourful, striking works designed by the artist Katharina Grosse. Here, the building is presented by large photographs and plans, accompanied by an inventory summarizing construction data, and several texts by international authors.
